The submission deadline for this RFP has passed.
This Request for Proposal includes writing the annual report for TERC's Air Quality and NTRD programs. The technical writing for this report is due April 1, 2008.
To apply for this funding complete all the request for proposal forms (see the Required Proposal Forms and the Required Budget on the Forms Page) and send them to Alex Cuclis at acuclis@harc.edu by February 20, 2008. Include specific information that identifies your qualifications for this work. All questions about this project must be sent by email to acuclis@harc.edu. Annual Report Technical Writer
Gather information to compile a 6,000-8,000 word document that includes information about the science and policy issues addressed by TERC programs. The report must be written in language that can be understood by readers who do not have a science or policy background. First draft copy is due by March 7, 2008. One major review/rewrite and one additional review and rewrite will be required. All documents must be in Microsoft Word. Use the following information sources on www.tercairquality.org:
- Review the executive summaries and additional information found in TERC air quality reports published since January 2007.
- Include and refer to tables and graphics located in the air quality reports that help make a point to a non-technical audience.
- Refer to past annual reports.
- Include information about the NTRD program; see the www.tercairquality.org site for details.
- Contact HARC staff for questions and additional information (Jim Lester, Jay Olaguer, Rudy Smaling, and Alex Cuclis).
The final technical writing document due April 1, 2008.
