Additional improvements can be made to the Commercial Marine Vessel (CMV) inventory. CMV sources often have a horsepower well above what is found in their land-based counterparts (e.g., > 10,000 hp). Accordingly, even relatively small changes in CMV population and activity can cause a disproportionately large change in estimated emissions. Expanding on the existing inventory developed by Starcrest Consulting, the CMV inventory can be effectively refined in a timely manner.
