The project principally involves the collection of statistically significant and representative activity data for the subject stationary minor NOx sources in the nine-county Dallas-Ft.Worth (DFW) ozone nonattainment area, the development of source profiles and surrogate emission estimation factors based on the DFW activity data, the extrapolation of these surrogates to sources within an area 200 km of the DFW nonattainment area, and the development of two base year (1999 and 2002) and two 2009 projected year NOx emission inventories for the minor combustion sources (based on the collected activity data).
