Question
The template for this RFGA has several typos that the proposer cannot correct, such as:
- The cover page lists this submittal as a response to RFGA-09
- The header at the top of each page reads, in part, "RFGA-109 Application Form"
Should the proposer simply ignore these typos and hope that the reviewers don't become confused?
Answer
We appreciate you pointing out these template typos; corrected forms have been posted. Using either the forms with these typos or the corrected forms will not affect eligibility or proposal review in any way.
Question
The wording for the second task: "Determine how energy resources in the State of Texas can be used to produce qualifying fuels" is somewhat vague. What, specifically, is meant by energy resources? Does this refer to crude oil, animal fats, and agricultural products, or does it refer to refineries and biodiesel production plants?
Answer
The wording for the second task is aimed at various biodiesel feedstocks (edible or non-edible oil crops, animal fats, recycled greases, etc) from Texas sources, where the biodiesel produced must meet applicable Texas regulations.
