TERC sponsors $8 million dollars worth of new technology projects each year. The objective of these new technology projects is to develop a portfolio of verified technologies that can be implemented under the voluntary Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP). The Request for Grant Applications are assembled and reviewed by TERC's research management organization, the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC), and the Environmental Technology Advisory Committee. The latter is a distinguished group of nationally recognized scientists that rank the applications according to the priorities established by TERC. The applications selected for funding are focused on new NOx emissions-reducing technologies with potential for commercialization in the state of Texas. The links below provide guides to the applications that have been approved for funding.
