SCR System for On- & Off-Road Applications

The objective of the proposed project is to develop a urea-SCR NOx emissions control system for retrofitting heavy-duty off-road and on-road diesel engines, and to receive EPA/ETV verification for the system. The SCR system proposed by NETT Technologies is based on key components developed in Europe. The proposed system control strategy makes this system less engine specific and more easily adaptable to a range of on-road and off-road engines. The project will start with in-house prototype build and testing. A verification plan will be developed and prototype systems will be aged through in-the-field installations on off-road equipment, such as diesel powered construction equipment in either the Houston-Galveston or Dallas-Fort Worth non-attainment areas of Texas.
