Caterpillar 3500 Emissions Upgrade Kits
The Emissions Upgrade Group (EUG) is and overhaul kit that combines specific emissions-critical components from the Tier 1 & 2 3500 engine, with non-emissions-critical components from a standard unregulated 3500 engine to improve the engine’s emissions of NOx by 25% up to and including Tier 2 levels at the time of overhaul. The EUG kit has been created from field proven Caterpillar production technology. The technology is currently in production on the 3500 series engines since 1995.
