This project:
- Developed a comprehensive meteorological dataset for TexAQS II-2006 based on all available sources;
- Characterized the meteorological conditions prevailing during TexAQS II-2006, especially during days on which major TERC experiments were conducted; and
- Examined real-time meteorological and air quality forecasts made during the TexAQS II intensive period to determine successes and failures, and to develop strategies for better meteorological simulations of relevant ozone episodes.
